Thank you for your interest in our school. Let us tell you a little about Kitty Club and what we expect for our teachers.

Hiroshi Saito and his wife Yoshiko established Kitty English Club in April of 1983 when they opened their house for children's English classes. By August of that year 34 neighborhood children had joined up.
Currently we have five schools where over 450 children come weekly to enjoy learning English in a relaxed and fun environment. Each class is limited to ten students, giving lots of time for personal attention.
The lessons are filled with songs, games, and educational activities that provide each student with the opportunity to learn and participate. The lessons are supported by a multi-level curriculum (Kitty System) that includes monthly targets for conversation and vocabulary, as well as structured worksheets and homework books.

Among stated goals or expectations for teachers are:
*Positive student/teacher and parent/teacher interaction
*Development of proper communication skills
*Maintaining a professional atmosphere
*Promoting internationalization
*Being well prepared for each lesson

We expect our teachers to be well balanced, competent, motivated, resourceful, sensitive to students needs, kind, and at the same time be able to motivate children to learn. Teachers should retain the respect of the students and parents and maintain a proper learning environment by having good classroom management skills.
-In morning classes children aged 1-3 come to learn the basic steps of English. In class you are joined with a Japanese teacher to make a great team.
-In afternoon classes kindergarten and elementary school students come for 50-minute lessons. These lessons are lead by the Native teacher who is guiding the class in songs, games, conversation, and other activities. You must be well prepared and full of energy.

If this sounds like an exciting opportunity for you, please feel free to contact us for further information.

Thank you again for showing interest in Kitty Club!
